Residential container manufacturer

A residential container you can live in all year

We design residential containers around a specific internal layout, with full insulation, heating and a finished bathroom. Once unloaded, the building is ready to move into - there is no shell and core stage. In the ready 6 × 3 or 8 × 3 m layouts the same building comes with a shorter lead time. A building for seasonal use that stays within the 35 m² footprint threshold is covered under containers up to 35 m².

When it works

When a residential container is the right answer

A year-round home on a plot

Accommodation for seasonal staff

Somewhere to live while the house is built

A separate house for parents

A building for short-term letting

Living space on a farm

A home for grown-up children

Accommodation for a contract team

A second house on a shared plot

What you get

What comes with the building

Insulated for winter

Core thickness and window units sized for year-round use, together with the heating.

A finished bathroom and kitchenette

Services and sanitaryware installed at the factory.

A layout designed around you

The number of rooms, the position of partitions and the windows are agreed before production.

You walk in once it is unloaded

The building arrives finished, with no stage of works on site.

Good to know

What to know about residential containers

Built for living in, not for storing things

The difference between a residential container and a site unit is in the specification rather than the shape. A thicker insulation core, windows and doors rated for a home, heating sized to the volume, and a bathroom with the plumbing already in the walls. All of it goes in at the factory, so what arrives on your plot is a finished house rather than a box to fit out.

What you decide before production

  • Number of rooms and where the partitions run.
  • Window and door positions, including glazed sliding doors.
  • Bathroom layout, kitchenette and the heating system.
  • External finish: cladding colour, timber or slatted elevations.

Two or more modules can be joined into one building where a single unit is not enough floor area.

Where these buildings go

On private plots as a year-round home or a second house, on farms and estates as accommodation for staff, and beside a building site as somewhere to live while the main house goes up. Because the building can be relocated, it also suits a plot you may not keep for ever.
